Making granola at home is so much more satisfying than buying from the store. Not to mention, it's also way cheaper! With tiny bags of boutique granola pushing up towards $10 these days, it's way more cost effective and just as delicious if you make it yourself. Here, I served mine over almond yogurt and topped it with fresh blackberries.

- 4 cups Rolled oats
- 1/2 cup Sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup Pecan pieces
- 1/4 cup Flax seeds
- 1/4 cup Coconut oil, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons Maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Agave
- 1/4 cup Dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
- 4 cups Rolled oats
- 1/2 cup Sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup Pecan pieces
- 1/4 cup Flax seeds
- 1/4 cup Coconut oil, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons Maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Agave
- 1/4 cup Dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
Directions
1. Pre-heat oven to 325.
2. Combine all ingredients in bowl so that the dry is evenly coated with the wet.
3. Spread granola evenly onto parchment-lined or nonstick baking sheet.
4. Turn granola every 5 minutes once it’s in the oven, making sure it cooks evenly, until finished.
5. Off heat, add 1/2 cup of your favorite dried fruit. I like dried cherries and cranberries. Dates are also great!
